Auto o no
Isole piccole (Marettimo, Alicudi) senza auto: bici o piedi. Isole medie (Salina, Ponza) auto utile ma non essenziale. Traghetta il minor mezzo possibile.
Dormire
Prenotare 3-6 mesi prima in alta stagione. In bassa stagione (aprile-maggio e ottobre) si trova tutto e a metà prezzo.
Acqua e rifornimenti
Molte isole minori hanno acqua razionata (autobotti) e rifornimenti scarsi. Porta contanti (bancomat possono non esserci) e medicine essenziali.
