Mete Nascoste publishes guides to little-known destinations, but it's never really "on the ground". Whoever really is — whoever works there, lives there, or sees it through different eyes than ours — has direct experience that no desk research can replace. If you have something to add to one of our guides, or want to write one yourself, this is the place.
What you bring
You don't need to be a journalist or a professional writer. We're interested in people who really know a place:
- a restaurant or hotel owner who knows what travellers really ask for
- a tour guide or travel leader who takes people there every week
- a local photographer who knows the spots off the beaten path
- a travel blogger or an amateur traveller who has visited a place with real attention
What you get in return
We don't offer a fixed fee, but something that stays online and is worth as much for your profile as for our content:
- your real byline — name, real photo (not an avatar), on the guide you contributed to
- a direct link to your site, your business or your profile, without
nofollow: a genuine editorial link, not a sponsored one - a public author page with the "verified local voice" badge, indexed and linked to every guide you contribute to
How it works
- Write below who you are, what you know and what you'd like to tell — a few lines are enough.
- We'll reply by email: we verify the practical information together, as we do for every guide.
- We publish your contribution with your name, your photo and a link to your site.
