Five minutes on foot through the pedestrian tunnel, Atrani offers authentic trattorias at 20-30% lower prices than central Amalfi. Piazzetta Umberto I has a couple of spots with outdoor tables where you can dine watching the sea.

Valle dei Mulini

Heading inland, some trattorias serve home cooking with valley views. Land-based dishes like rabbit and aubergine parmigiana dominate menus, alongside handmade pastas.
