Best neighborhoods to stay in

Historic Center — Basilica area

The heart of Ravenna, between San Vitale, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, and Sant'Apollinare Nuovo. A bicycle-friendly city with arcaded squares, mosaic workshops, and Dante's tomb. Staying here means having the mosaics steps away and enjoying a gentle evening scene among small squares and venues.

Darsena and Port area

The renovated former port area, with cultural spaces, contemporary restaurants, and a more modern atmosphere. MAR (Ravenna City Art Museum) is here. Prices slightly lower than the center, with a more urban and creative character.

Classe and Sant'Apollinare

B&Bs in the historic center
